André Crabb

André Crabb has a diverse range of work experience in the tech industry. André started their career as a Sandwich Artist at Subway and later worked as an Information Technology Intern at Filanc Construction Co., Inc., where they gained experience in help desk support and programming custom workflows. André also worked as a Java Lab Aide at MiraCosta College, tutoring and assisting students with programming.

In 2012, André had an internship as an Android SDE at Amazon Music, where they focused on front-end Android development. The following year, they interned as a Mobile Apps Intern at Apple, where they worked on adding features to the Apple Store App for iPad.

André's career in software engineering began in 2014 when they joined Pandora as a Software Engineer. André worked on various projects, including refreshing the Chromecast UI and refactoring mobile code for iOS and Android. André later became a Senior Software Engineer on the Automotive team, where they were responsible for delivering Pandora on CarPlay and acting as the first dev point of contact for automotive partners.

In 2017, André joined iFit - fitness technology as a Senior Mobile Developer, where they contributed to the development and delivery of mobile apps. André left the company voluntarily in 2019 with an excellent standing.

Currently, André holds the position of Frontend Tech Lead at Alliance Laundry Systems LLC. André leads the frontend team, oversees the rewriting of the flagship web app for mobile, and maintains and improves legacy code bases. André is also passionate about optimizing client-side app development using cross-platform frameworks.

André Crabb has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, which they obtained from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended MiraCosta College from 2009 to 2011, where they earned an Associate of Arts degree in Computer Science. André completed their high school education at Torrey Pines High School from 2005 to 2009.
