Margaret Heffernan

Margaret (Betsy) Heffernan, MBA, is an experienced communications professional currently serving as a Board Member for the Ripon Area School District Board of Education since May 2019. Betsy has held the position of Communications and Corporate Giving Manager at Alliance Laundry Systems LLC since January 2019, where responsibilities include driving a corporate editorial calendar and managing public relations campaigns. Previous roles include Sr. Internal Communications Consultant at ThedaCare and various positions at We Energies, culminating as Manager of Communication and Education Services. Betsy began her career in journalism as an Anchor/Reporter at WITI Fox 6 and WLUK Fox 11. Betsy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MBA in Corporate Communications from Concordia University.
