Stewart Todd has extensive experience in the field of communications and public affairs. Stewart began their career as a journalist at the Scottish Sports Agency in 1997. Stewart then worked as a press officer at the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the Cabinet Office, and the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister. In 2003, they joined the Department for Work and Pensions as a press officer and later became the Chief Press Officer and Head of News. In 2013, they moved to the Financial Conduct Authority as the Head of News, where they oversaw the FCA press office and developed media strategies. In 2015, Todd joined Lloyd's as the Head of Strategic Communications, responsible for external communications and providing strategic advice to senior executives. Currently, they are with Santander UK, where they have served in various roles including the Head of External Affairs and the Interim Director of Corporate Communications and Responsible Banking. Their responsibilities include providing communications advice, managing media relations, and ensuring the delivery of external communications aligned with the organizations' strategic priorities.
Stewart Todd attended Woodfarm High School in Glasgow from 1987 to 1993. Stewart then went on to study at the University of Glasgow from 1993 to 1997, earning a Master of Arts degree in Modern History.
