Nathanial Peterson

Nathanial Peterson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in behavioral science and decision research. Currently serving as Managing Partner at Burgeon Strategy and Senior Scientist at the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT, Nathanial focuses on behavioral optimization and private sector support in climate action initiatives. Nathanial also holds non-executive board member roles at CoAmana and Cycle Connect. Previously, Nathanial contributed to the Busara Center for Behavioral Economics in various leadership positions, including Vice President of Partnerships. Nathanial's career began as a Strategy Consultant at Human Capital Research Corporation, where strategies for universities were developed using predictive analytics and behavioral science. Nathanial holds a PhD and an MS in Behavioral Decision Research from Carnegie Mellon University, along with a BS in Applied Economics and a BA in Psychology and Management from the University of Minnesota.
