Steve Hutchcraft has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Steve is currently the Principal at Hutchcraft Strategic Partners, where they provide strategic guidance and planning to start-ups and high-growth organizations. Steve specializes in the energy management, robotics, and manufacturing sectors, as well as strategic planning for non-profits in the land conservation space.

In 2012, Steve became the Group Director at Alliance of Chief Executives, where they drive peer-to-peer discussions and facilitates strategic discussions among business leaders in Northern California.

Prior to that, Steve served as the Director and Former Chairman of the Board at John Muir Land Trust, where they provided strategic leadership and organizational guidance for the preservation of open space in the East San Francisco Bay Area.

Additionally, Steve has experience as an Author and Publisher at PhotoHutch, a photography and publishing company focused on nature and the environment. Steve also served as the President and CEO of Amana Heating and Air-conditioning, managing all aspects of a manufacturing business. Steve was also the Vice President of Sales at International Comfort Products, where they had sales and margin responsibility for the western half of the United States.

Earlier in their career, Steve worked as the Executive Assistant to the President (Chief of Staff) of North American Operations at Carrier Corporation. Steve played a role in evaluating strategic and financial issues, managing acquisitions, and exploring alternate channels to market.

Throughout their career, Steve has demonstrated their expertise in strategic planning, business development, and leadership in various industries.

Steve Hutchcraft completed their high school education at San Ramon Valley High School from 1975 to 1979. Steve then pursued their bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University from 1979 to 1983. Following that, they attended Harvard Business School from 1987 to 1989, where they earned their MBA with a focus on Business.
