Francois Behr

Francois Behr currently serves as the Regional HR Senior Director for EMEA at Alliance One, a position held since October 2023. Prior to this role, Francois was the Regional HR Director for Africa at Alliance One International from February 2020 to October 2023. Francois has extensive HR experience, having held senior positions such as Head of Human Capital and Facilities at Metalkol from February 2017 to February 2020, Senior HR Manager at Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation PLC from October 2015 to February 2020, and various HR management roles at Group Five, Stefanutti Stocks, and Massdiscounters over a span of more than a decade. Francois began a career in telecommunications at Telkom, progressing from Exchange Operator to Exchange Supervisor. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Human Resources Management and an MBA in Business Administration from Regent Business School, along with a BTech in HR Management (Cum Laude) and a National Certificate in Retail Operations Management.
