Amy Butler

Amy Butler is an accomplished professional in the life sciences sector with extensive leadership experience. Currently serving as President of Biosciences at Thermo Fisher Scientific since February 2014, Amy has held various significant positions including Vice President and General Manager of Cell Biology and VP Global Marketing & Ebusiness Life Sciences Solutions. In addition to current responsibilities, Amy is a board member at Biocom California and serves on the Board of Directors for the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Life Technologies and McKinsey & Co., as well as a postdoctoral fellowship at the Salk Institute. Amy holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University at Buffalo.
