Matthew Robb, PE, MBA, PMP began their work experience in 2008 as an Engineering Intern at Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. Matthew then became a Mine Engineer from May 2011 to August 2014 before being promoted to Assistant to the General Manager until August 2019. In September 2019, they joined John T. Boyd Company as a Senior Engineer and later became Vice President in September 2021. Currently, Matthew holds the position of Vice President of Engineering - North Appalachia at Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. starting from September 2022.
Matthew Robb earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Mining and Mineral Resource Engineering from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in 2011. Matthew then pursued a Masters of Business Administration from Penn State University, graduating in 2013.

Matthew also holds a WV Mine Foreman Certification, acquired in September 2011. Prior to that, they obtained the WV Experienced Underground Miner certification in May 2011 and the Kentucky Experienced Underground Miner certification in August 2008.
