Alliance Theatre
Ben Rawson is a professional lighting designer with extensive experience in theater and dance, currently holding positions with companies including Alabama Shakespeare Festival, BalletCollective, Atlanta Ballet, and Florida Studio Theatre. Since August 2023, Ben has worked on notable productions such as "The Watsons go to Birmingham - 2025" and "Zelda in the Backyard - 2024," alongside a variety of performances across multiple organizations. Notable past projects include designing for "Cinderella," "The Wizard of Oz," "Madame Butterfly," and receiving nominations for Best Lighting Design at the Suzi Awards. Ben's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Performance Studies with a concentration in Lighting Design from Kennesaw State University, completed in 2016.
