Dan Caffrey

Dan Caffrey is a versatile writer and editor with extensive experience in the media and arts sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Performance Editor at Pillar4 Media, Dan focuses on creating SEO-friendly copy for Sleepopolis and Mattress Clarity, while also coaching freelance writers. Dan is also a Weekend News Editor at Vox.com, where collaboration with writers on news stories and editing content occurs over weekends. Additionally, Dan teaches playwriting at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta and co-hosts two podcasts, Halloweenies: A Horror Franchise Podcast and The Losers' Club: A Stephen King Podcast. Previous roles include writing for The A.V. Club and contributing to various magazines while working as a freelance writer for Guerrero Howe. Dan holds an MFA in Playwriting from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's in Creative Writing and Theatre from Florida State University.
