Senior Fellow Emeritus And Former Edison Electric Institute Loaned Executive at Alliance to Save Energy

Rick Tempchin is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, currently serving as a Senior Advisor at the Alliance for Transportation Electrification since January 2021. Tempchin has held the role of Senior Fellow Emeritus and former Edison Electric Institute Loaned Executive at the Alliance to Save Energy since June 2018. Prior to these positions, Tempchin was the Executive Director of Customer Solutions at the Edison Electric Institute from July 1987 to June 2018 and worked as a Senior Analyst at Navigant Corporation/Synergic Resources from August 1985 to August 1987. Tempchin began a career in energy policy as a Research Resident at the US Department of Energy's Office of Electricity Policy from August 1984 to August 1985. Academic credentials include an MBA in Energy Resource Economics from the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business and a B.S. in Marketing/Marketing Management from the University of Maryland.
