Andrew Chin

Andrew Chin has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Andrew started their career at Bankers Trust as an Associate in Global Investment Management from July 1994 to February 1997. In February 1997, they joined AllianceBernstein as the Chief Risk Officer and Head of Quantitative Research, a role they held until December 2021. Andrew then transitioned to become the Head of Quantitative Research and Chief Data Scientist at AllianceBernstein from January 2022 to April 2023. In April 2023, they assumed the position of Head of Investment Solutions and Sciences at AllianceBernstein. Outside of their roles at AllianceBernstein, Andrew has also served as an Adjunct Professor at Mercy College from September 2013 to June 2017, and at Cornell University from September 2014 (current). Andrew is also involved with the Society of Quantitative Analysts (SQA) as a Director since September 2014 (current).

Andrew Chin earned their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Math from Cornell University in 1993. Andrew later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management, completing it in 1994.
