Geoffrey Cornell

Geoffrey Cornell, CFA, currently serves as the Chief Investment Officer of Insurance at AllianceBernstein since April 2024. Prior to this role, Geoffrey Cornell held multiple positions at AIG from January 2003 to December 2022, including Chief Investment Officer for AIG Life & Retirement, Chief Investment Officer, Deputy CIO of Asset Management, and Chief Investment Officer for Chartis US. Geoffrey Cornell also led the Municipal Bonds division as Managing Director. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Finance with a focus on Portfolio Management from Fordham Gabelli School of Business and a BS/BA in Finance from Bryant University.
