John Lin serves as the Chief Investment Officer for China Equities and Co-Portfolio Manager for Emerging Market Value Equity at AllianceBernstein since August 2006. In this role, John oversees the AllianceBernstein China A-shares Value Fund, leads client communications regarding developments in China, and actively participates in the management of global and emerging portfolios, focusing on Chinese and Hong Kong financial institutions and real estate sectors. Prior to this, John worked at Citigroup from August 2000 to December 2003 as an Associate in TMT investment banking for Asia ex-Japan. John Lin earned an MBA with a focus on Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School between 2004 and 2006 and holds a BS in Environmental Engineering from Cornell University, obtained in 2000.
