Rick Pontin

Rick Pontin is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in corporate governance and advisory roles. Currently, Pontin serves as Chair of the Audit Committee for both AB Private Lending Fund and AB CarVal Credit Opportunities Fund, while also being a member of the Board of Directors at AllianceBernstein, where oversight includes significant investment opportunities in middle market credit. As a member of the NACD Board of Directors and Chairman of its Board of Advisors since 2016, Pontin contributes to advancing corporate director education. With a career spanning over two decades as Managing Partner of The Pontin Group, Pontin provides strategic advisory services to various private equity and venture capital firms. Previous leadership roles include CEO of several companies such as TRAQ, Airclic, and Airband Communications, alongside board positions at PlumChoice and Tangoe, highlighting expertise in IT management and telecommunications. Pontin holds an MBA in Finance and a BS in Biological Science from Drexel University.
