Lakshmanan S has extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as Deputy General Manager at Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi since August 2011, leading the Body Process team and overseeing new project launches, departmental KPIs, and budget management. Previously held positions include Senior Manager and Manager, focusing on new projects development and BIW processes. Lakshmanan also has overseas project management experience across Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Mexico, and Argentina, validating global tool makers and optimizing tooling processes. Prior experience includes roles at Hyundai Motor India Ltd. where expertise in BIW manufacturing and supplier quality was developed. Lakshmanan holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Sankar Polytechnic College.
