Alisha McDonald

Alisha McDonald, CPA, is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as Accounting Team Lead at Alliant Energy since January 2019, Alisha has held various roles including Lead Accountant and Senior Accountant. Prior experience includes working as an Assurance Manager at BDO USA, LLP, and as a Manager at Smith & Gesteland, where Alisha also served as a Senior Staff Accountant and Staff Accountant. Alisha began the accounting career as an Internal Audit Intern at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater, contributing to multiple internal audits. Alisha earned a Master of Professional Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater.
