Sigurd Volk

Sigurd Volk is a seasoned professional in the insurance industry, currently serving as the Technical Head of Life & Health for Allianz Asia Pacific since April 2011. With a robust background, Sigurd has held key positions such as Head of Life Strategy and Japan, Head of Strategic Projects, and Regional Chief Risk Officer within Allianz. Prior to this, Sigurd was the Chief Risk Officer at Allianz Ayudhya from January 2008 to March 2011 and served as a Senior Risk Manager at Allianz from May 2006 to December 2007. Sigurd's career began as a Regional Financial Analyst at Allianz Asia Pacific from July 2004 to April 2006. Sigurd holds a Master's degree in international business with a focus on finance from Maastricht University, complemented by studies at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
