Dr. Matthias Grein

Dr. Matthias Grein, CFA, CFDS, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in portfolio management, currently serving as Vice President of Multi Asset Portfolio Management and Vice President of Fixed Income Portfolio Management at Allianz Global Investors since February 2013. Prior to this role, Dr. Grein was a PhD student in Economics at the University of Cambridge from October 2009 to April 2013 and completed a traineeship in Financial Stability at the European Central Bank in the summer of 2011. Dr. Grein began a career in finance as a Risk Manager at DresdnerKleinwort from September 2007 to October 2009. Dr. Grein holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Cambridge, an MSc in Economics from The University of Edinburgh, and a Master's Degree in Mathematics from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
