Ted Lane

Ted Lane has a diverse background in operations and leadership roles. Ted is currently working as the Vice President of Life Operations at Allianz Life, a position they have held since 2024. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Vice President and COO at NTT DATA Services from 2019 to 2024.

Before joining NTT DATA Services, Ted held the position of Operations/Call Center Executive at DXC Technology from 2016 to 2019. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the leadership direction and servicing of approximately 7 million closed block Life and Annuity policies.

Ted's earlier experience includes serving as the Vice President of US Life Claims Operations at MetLife from 2013 to 2016. Ted was in charge of the leadership direction of MetLife's US Life Claims division, overseeing 400+ associates across multiple sites. Ted also served as the Vice President of Life Insurance Operations at MetLife from 2007 to 2013, where they led a team of 500+ associates responsible for processing inforce transactions and inquiries.

Prior to their roles at MetLife, Ted worked as the Director of Call Center Support at Comcast from 2004 to 2006, and as the General Director of Life Inforce Operations at John Hancock Financial Services from 1997 to 2004.

Ted began their career at Fleet Bank in 1987, where they served as Vice President.

Ted Lane has an MBA from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University and a BS in Finance from Boston College. Ted also holds certifications in FINRA Series 7 and 26 from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
