Yair Stein

Yair Stein is an experienced audit professional currently serving as the Chief Audit Executive at Allianz Retire+ since July 2022. In this role, Yair provides strategic insights and updates to the Board Audit Committee and delivers comprehensive assurance services to senior leadership. Prior to this, Yair held the position of Director of Internal Audit at Equifax - Australia, where Yair successfully established the Internal Audit function, created the quarterly board pack, and significantly improved SOX audit efficiency. Earlier experience includes senior roles at ORIX Australia Corporation Limited, RSM Australia, and PKF South Africa, with a strong focus on risk management, staff development, and audit efficiency. Yair is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Higher Diploma in Accounting from the University of the Witwatersrand.
