Oleksandr Motornyi

Oleksandr Motornyi, PhD, is a Senior Data Engineer at Allianz Trade since November 2023, with prior experience as a Data Engineer and Product Owner at Datategy from April 2020 to October 2023. At Datategy, Oleksandr was the tech lead for a B2C application focused on helping drivers locate free parking, where responsibilities included requirement definition, database and infrastructure design, and backend development of REST APIs and ETL tools. Additionally, Oleksandr led an agile team on a parking platform deployed in eight cities in the Middle East, utilized by over 300 agents. Earlier, as a Postdoctoral Researcher and PhD researcher at École Polytechnique from October 2015 to May 2019, research focused on simulating gold surfaces at the quantum level. Oleksandr holds a PhD in Physics from École Polytechnique and has degrees in High Technologies and Applied Physics from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
