Joe Mason is the current Chief Marketing Officer, Americas & Global Travel at Allianz Travel. Joe has also served as the Senior Vice President, Marketing & Analysis at Intersections from June 2009 to January 2014. In this role, they had P&L responsibilities for the newly formed Intersections, Inc. subsidiary called i4C Innovations, Inc. that focuses on wearable technology. Joe led all major phases of marketing strategy, channel management, business development, digital, contract negotiations, promotions, and media relations for start-up. The product, "Voyce", was named “Best of CES 2014” by Yahoo!, USA Today, PC World, TechHive, and gained national media attention.
From December 1999 to May 2009, Joe Mason served as the Director of Online Marketing Strategy at Capital One. Joe was recruited to create the ecommerce strategy and roadmap for a data-driven redesign of the corporate web site (www.capitalone.com) viewed by >21MM unique visitors/mo. Joe established the vision and success metrics, led and managed complex agency negotiations, and collaborated with business units to launch new financial products and services.
Prior to their time at Capital One and Intersections, Joe Mason served as the General Manager at U.S. Filter from January 1997 to November 1999.
Joe Mason has a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia and an MBA in Marketing from William & Mary's Raymond A. Mason School of Business.
