Nazim Cetin

Dr. Nazim Cetin is the CEO of Allianz X. Nazim has more than a decade of leadership experience in investing, business development, and entrepreneurship. Nazim joined Allianz X most recently from media conglomerate Bertelsmann, where he was a Vice President of Corporate Development & New Businesses. Prior to that, Nazim founded the first German magazine focusing on philosophy and economics, Agora 42; internationalized the commercial finance division of Maple Bank as its Vice President Commercial Finance; and was an advisor to many international VC funds and start-ups. Nazim began his career in investment banking at LBBW. He is a member of the supervisory board of CLARK, Control€xpert, Pie Insurance, and WeLab Holdings.

Nazim received his Diplom in Quantitative Economics from Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen, an M.Sc in Economics and Management from Universitat Pompeu Fabra Barcelona, and a Ph.D. in Economics from Witten-Herdecke University.
