Dr. Matthias Baltin currently serves as the Head of Business Division Western & Southern Europe at Allianz Partners and Allianz Direct, a position held since 2024. Prior to this role, Dr. Baltin was the Chief Executive Officer of Allianz Polska from 2018 to 2023 and held various leadership positions within Allianz, including Chief Financial Officer and Head of Wealth Management & Marketing at Allianz Bank Financial Advisors, as well as Head of Business Division Southern Europe. Experience also includes a tenure as Country Manager Business Division Southern & Western Europe at Swiss Re and management consulting with McKinsey & Company. Dr. Baltin holds multiple degrees, including a CFA Charterholder, a Dr. rer. pol. from RWTH Aachen University, an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Diplom-Kaufmann from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.
