Henning Haagen

Henning Haagen is the Chief Regions & Markets Officer, Regional Group 1 at Allianz. Henning has over 18 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry.

Haagen began their career as a Senior Underwriter for Aviation Reinsurance at GE Frankona Rückversicherung AG in 2000. In 2003, they joined Augsburg Re as an Active Underwriter for Aviation Reinsurance. Henning held this position until 2008 when they joined Allianz.

At Allianz, Haagen is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the company’s regional and market operations in Group 1, which includes Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, and Scandinavia.

Henning Haagen studied economics at the University of Cologne.
