Philipp Kroetz is the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Management of Allianz Direct, leading customer-centered innovation in insurance across Europe. In addition to their current roles, Kroetz serves as a Member of the Supervisory Board at VOLKSWAGEN Autoversicherung AG and as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Allianz Direct in Italy. Previously, they held significant positions at Allianz Partners, where they were the Chief Transformation Officer and a regional CEO for the DACH region. Before joining Allianz, Kroetz worked as an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company and held various leadership positions at Allianz Automotive. They earned a Master of Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
