Thomas Wiegel

Thomas Wiegel has extensive experience in strategic sourcing and IT management, currently serving as a Senior Global Sourcing Manager for Software/SaaS at Allianz since March 2015, where responsibilities include leading worldwide IT security software procurement and negotiations. Previous roles include Head of Strategic Sourcing at OSTERREICHISCHE VOLKBANKEN AG and various sourcing management positions within the Austrian banking sector, where contract negotiations with strategic IT and telecommunication suppliers were key responsibilities. Thomas Wiegel has also held managerial roles in sales and project management across multiple companies, including key account management at HP and project management at several Austrian banks.
