Aneel Kumar

Aneel Kumar has extensive experience in auditing and financial management, currently serving as Group Head Audit at Allied Bank Limited since October 2012, where responsibilities include supervising the annual audit plan, providing technical guidance, and liaising across bank functions. Prior to this role, Aneel worked as Executive Manager for Budgeting and Management Reporting at Tameer Microfinance Bank Limited, contributing to business planning and departmental budgeting. Aneel began professional career as Supervising Senior at A. F. Ferguson & Co. Chartered Accountants, specializing in taxation and legal advisory, and earlier served as a Senior Auditor in the firm’s Audit & Business Advisory Services. Aneel holds a Chartered Accountant degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and a CISA certification from ISACA. Additionally, Aneel has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Karachi University.
