Shahid Amir

Mr. Shahid Amir is a seasoned banker, with over 32 years of rich experience to his credit in the areas of Business and Banking Operations. He holds Master’s degree in Business Administration and has acquired Diplomas in Islamic Banking and Total Quality Management with professional trainings from prestigious institutions in Pakistan and United Kingdom. Mr. Shahid started his banking career in 1989 from BCCI. His vast exposure of Branch Banking in Askari Bank spreads over a period of 16 years before joining ABL in 2008. At Allied Bank, he has served the bank as Regional Head Islamabad, Group Head CRBG (South) and Group Head BSG (North). After serving as Chief Commercial & Retail Banking Group (North) from 2017 till 2021, he is now serving as Chief Islamic Banking Group from January 2022.
