Christina Artz is an experienced educator specializing in supporting individuals with visual impairments. Currently serving as a Teacher for the Blind/Visually Impaired at Allied Instructional Services since August 2019, Christina has a strong background in providing direct instruction and resources to students and their communities. Previous roles include a similar position at Hanover County Public Schools from August 2014 to August 2019 and Braille Transcriber at Albemarle County Public Schools from August 2011 to June 2013. Christina's early career involved leading a team at The Faison Center, focusing on ABA-based instruction for students with autism. Academic qualifications include a Master of Education in Visual Impairments from James Madison University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from Virginia Commonwealth University.
