Head Of Corporate Banking - South at Allied Irish Bank (GB)

Bill Toomey has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Bill started their career at Allied Irish Bank (GB) in 1990, where they worked in project management and led various restructuring projects. In 1997, they moved to AIB Group (UK) plc as part of the Corporate Banking team, focusing on the banking requirements for larger corporate customers. During their tenure, AIB GB won awards for best business bank. Since 2007, Bill has been the Head of Corporate Banking - South at Allied Irish Bank (GB), where they manage successful corporate teams and is responsible for new business development and customer relationship management in the UK. Their focus areas include hotels, leisure, property, stadium development projects, as well as working capital, term debt funding, and acquisition finance.

Bill Toomey attended University College Dublin from 1982 to 1985, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Banking and Finance. Additionally, they completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Banking and Financial Support Services at IMCB.
