Sruthy Baburaj is a UV Chemist at Allied PhotoChemical Inc. since July 2023. Previously, Sruthy served as the Entrepreneurial Lead for a team in the NSF-ICORPS program from October 2022 to July 2023, focusing on plant-based materials for visible light radiation curing and engaging with over 100 industrial professionals for customer discovery. Sruthy earned a PhD in Photochemistry from Bowling Green State University and completed a BS-MS in Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Science Education & Research (IISER) Kolkata. Research experience includes an undergraduate project on photo-responsive materials, internships at IISER Bhopal and CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory, and a PhD research tenure from August 2018 to July 2023 at Bowling Green State University.
