Raphael Strauss

Dr. Raphael (Ralph) Strauss has been a practicing allergist for over 23 years. In 2007 he opened, Strauss Allergy & Asthma Therapy’s Westbury office. He is certified by the American Board of Allergy & Immunology. After graduating cum laude from Brandeis University, he began his medical career at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where he received his medical degree in 1986. He did his internship and residency in pediatrics at Schneider Children’s Hospital/ Long Island Jewish Medical Center. There, he was recognized with the Best Resident Teaching Award in 1989. He followed up his residency with a two-year fellowship in allergy and immunology at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Nassau County Medical Society, and the American College and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology. He has authored and co-authored a number of publications for professional journals. Dr. Strauss has made several TV appearances as an expert in allergy and has been quoted in media publications such as the New York Times. Dr. Strauss serves as a Physician Leader for Allied Physicians Group.
