Hector Tarango

Hector Tarango has a strong background in security and law enforcement. Hector began their career in 1992 with the United States Border Patrol, where they served as an Agent and Special Agent until 1998. From 1998 to 2011, they worked with BATF as a Special Agent and later as a Senior Special Agent. During their time there, they gained expertise in firearms and large-scale criminal investigations.

In 2011, Tarango joined the United States Department of Justice as a Resident Agent In Charge. Hector led one of the largest offices in Texas, focusing on combatting violent crime associated with terrorism and firearms use. Hector'steam successfully investigated federal violations involving violent criminals, drug dealers, arsonists, and firearm traffickers.

After retiring from the Department of Justice, Tarango took on various roles in the private sector. Hector worked as a Violent Crime Expert at Vindico Investigations in 2016, eventually becoming the Chief Executive Officer of the company in 2017. In 2019, they joined the Allied Pilots Association as the Director of Security, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of pilots.

Most recently, Tarango worked as the Director of Security at Pollution Control Products Company from 2021 to 2022, where they oversaw security operations.

Throughout their career, Tarango has demonstrated strong leadership skills, a commitment to public safety, and expertise in investigating and combating violent crime.

Hector Tarango obtained a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from National University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications. In October 2014, they became a certified Firearms instructor from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement. Hector later obtained the certification of Private Investigator Certified Trainer from the Texas Department of Public Safety in October 2015. In January 2016, they acquired the certification of Security Consultant from the Texas Private Security Bureau. Finally, in May 2017, they obtained the Texas License to Carry (LTC) from the Texas Department of Public Safety.
