James Kovacs

James Kovacs is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Vice President and Director of the Licensing Trademarks and Standards Group at Intel Corporation, a position held since May 2009, with various leadership roles in licensing and patent groups. Additionally, James is a Director on the Board of Directors for Allied Security Trust and chaired its Compensation Committee from 2014 to 2018. Previous experience includes Senior Counsel at Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP, and Associate roles at McGuireWoods, Gordon & Glickson LLC, and Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw LLP. James began professional legal training as a Summer Clerk with the Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section of the US Department of Justice.
