Laurie Gathman Kowalsky

Laurie Gathman Kowalsky is an accomplished IP&S Manager and Principal Intellectual Property Attorney at Philips since September 2006, specializing in patent litigation, intellectual property management, and licensing. Additionally, Laurie serves on the Board of Directors for both the Allied Security Trust and the Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO). Previous roles include Senior Director at Symbol Technologies and Sr. Intellectual Property Counsel at Philips, with a foundational career as an Associate at Blum Kaplan and an Electrical Engineer at Grumman Aerospace. Laurie holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stony Brook University.
