Ashima Kapur

Ashima Kapur, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Ashima began their career at S & T Technologies as an HR Generalist in 1994. After that, they worked at The Morley Group as a Recruiter. In 1997, they joined OneAmerica Financial Partners Inc. and held various roles such as Senior Employment Representative, Employment Consultant, and Director of Employment. During their time at OneAmerica, they led a team of HR professionals, designed talent assessment and leadership programs, managed HR functions during mergers and acquisitions, and ensured compliance with employee regulations. In 2005, Ashima became the Lead Director of Employment at OneAmerica. In 2007, they were promoted to Assistant Vice President of Human Resources and led a team covering 30 locations. Ashima designed and introduced initiatives to develop effective middle managers and executives and handled workforce reductions. In 2013, Ashima joined Allied Solutions LLC as the 2nd VP of Human Resources and later became the Vice President of Human Resources. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President, Human Resources & Chief Diversity Officer at Allied Solutions, where they lead the HR department and focuses on expanding and diversifying HR services and strategies, onboarding new employees, designing training programs, and implementing compensation plans.

Ashima Kapur, SPHR, SHRM-SCP holds a Master's degree in Industrial Psychology and Organizational Behavior, which they obtained from Delhi University from 1990 to 1992. Prior to this, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial psychology and Organizational Behavior from Delhi University from 1987 to 1990. Ashima also holds additional certifications including "Fundamentals of Life and Health Insurance" from the Life Office management Association in 1998, as well as the "Executive Leadership Development Program" from OneAmerica. Ashima is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by HRAC and holds the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM.
