Susan Fithian

Operations Manager -DHA & USAMRMC SBIR/STTR at Allied Technologies and Consulting, LLC.

Susan Fithian has had a diverse range of work experience. Susan began their career at PSI CoE- Veterans Solutions Inc. in 2010 as a Background Administrator, where they specialized in the personnel security investigation request submission process for US Army Military, Government Civilians, and Contractors. Susan was also responsible for reviewing and correcting deficiencies in personnel security investigation request forms as a member of the Office of Personnel Management Corrections Team.

In 2013, Susan joined Army SBIR - BRTRC as an Army SBIR Program Transition Analyst. Their duties included tracking and assisting Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) performers into Department of Defense programs, updating transition records, and completing SBIR annual and quarterly reports.

Most recently, Susan worked at Allied Technologies and Consulting, LLC. in various roles. Susan was initially hired as a Program Analyst, where they managed the Defense Health Program (DHP) and Army Medical Research & Materiel Command (USAMRMC) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer Innovation Research (STTR) Programs. Their responsibilities included organizing and submitting SBIR and STTR Topics, overseeing internal topic reviews, managing SBIR/STTR evaluations, tracking the DHP SBIR budget, and organizing debriefs to unsuccessful offerors. Susan later transitioned to the role of Operations Manager, primarily focused on DHA and USAMRMC SBIR/STTR.

Susan Fithian obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Lees-McRae College, where they studied from 2005 to 2009.
