Bernie Hong

Bernie Hong has a diverse work experience in the actuarial field. Bernie started their career at Assurant in 1995 as a Senior Actuarial Analyst and then moved on to American Re-Insurance Company in 2000, where they held the same role. In 2002, they became the Actuarial Director at New York Compensation Insurance Rating Board. Bernie then joined Everest Reinsurance Company in 2004 as an Actuarial Manager. Their most recent roles include Vice President & Actuary (Medical Malpractice Division) at Allied World since November 2007 and currently, Vice President & Actuary (Casualty Division) since May 2022.

Bernie Hong received their Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science from St. John's University between 1991 and 1994.
