Eleanor Altamura

Eleanor Altamura has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Eleanor is currently working as the Vice President of Operations at Allied World since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Business Analyst at CG Insurance from May 2020 to May 2021. From September 2018 to March 2020, they were a Senior Consultant (Strategy) at Deloitte Consulting. Before that, they worked as a Strategy Consultant at Monitor Deloitte from May 2017 to August 2018.

Eleanor also has experience as an Independent Consultant, where they designed and authored policies and procedures for the Bank of Bermuda Foundation. Eleanor worked as an Independent Consultant from November 2016 to April 2017. In addition, they worked as a Policy Associate at Thrive Washington from September 2015 to September 2016. At Thrive Washington, they conducted policy analysis, engaged with stakeholders, and developed policy recommendations.

Earlier in their career, Eleanor worked as a Summer Policy Analyst Intern at The Government of Bermuda, Ministry of Education Headquarters in 2014, where they researched and recommended amendments to the Education Act 1996. Eleanor also worked as an Admissions Office Intern and a Summer Student Assistant for Professor William Connolly at Johns Hopkins University in 2012.

Eleanor's work experience also includes a banking internship at HSBC Bank Bermuda Limited in 2010.

Eleanor Altamura has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Philosophy from The Johns Hopkins University. Eleanor also holds a Master's degree in Public Policy and a Master of Science (MSc) in Comparative Social Policy from the University of Oxford. Additionally, they completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, as well as the GCSE and IGCSE programs at Bermuda High School.
