James Wren

James Wren has extensive experience in the insurance and finance sectors, currently serving as Vice President of the Inland Marine Division at Allied World since March 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing the West Coast operations. Prior to this role, James worked at Great American Insurance as a Property & Inland Marine Underwriter for nearly three years, focusing on business development and underwriting. James also gained experience in the hospitality industry as a head bartender and trainer at The Hacienda/Tivoli Terrace. Early career roles include Account Executive positions at Skyline Wholesale Lending and Greenpoint Mortgage, where notable achievements included building a top 10 team nationwide. Additionally, James held the position of Business Development Manager at Indymac Bank until its closure due to economic downturns. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UCLA and an Associate of Arts from Orange Coast College, complemented by military training in microwave satellite communication repair in the US Army.
