Lawren Miller Askew has extensive experience in health services coordination, currently serving as the Health Services Coordinator at Westside Children's Center since 1992, specializing in support for vulnerable families in Los Angeles. In addition, Lawren has been a Consultant/Trainer for Prepare Emergency Training Services since 1987, providing CPR and First Aid training through the American Heart Association and consulting on maternal child health for the California Childcare Network. Lawren also held the role of Chair of Outreach Ministries at Holman United Methodist Church from 2003 to 2006. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Mount Saint Mary's University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of San Francisco.
