Shaun Ryan is an experienced mining executive currently serving as the General Manager (Site Senior Executive) at Allkem Limited since July 2022. Previously, Shaun held key managerial roles at PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk, including Senior Operations Manager and Contract Mine Manager. Throughout a notable career in the mining industry, Shaun has demonstrated expertise in operational management, safety implementation, and production optimization in various capacities at organizations such as Sandfire Resources NL, Norton Gold Fields Limited, NRW Civil & Mining, and Newcrest Mining. Shaun's educational background includes a Post Graduate degree in Mining Engineering from UNSW and multiple diplomas in Mining, Business, and Surveying from TAFE institutions and Newman College.
