Matthias Meyer

Matthias Meyer has a strong background in the chemical industry, with a focus on operations and management. Matthias began their career at Hoechst AG, where they held the position of Leiter from 1989 to 1992 and again from 1992 to 1995. Following this, they joined VIANOVA RESINS as an Assistent for a year before moving on to UCB in 1996, where they served as Produktionsleiter until 2006. Meyer then joined Cytec as a Site Manager from 2006 to 2011, and later took on the roles of Site manager (interim) and Operation Technical Director for global Industrial Coating Resins from 2011 to 2012. Since 2012, Meyer has been working at Allnex as the Director of Technology Operations.

Matthias Meyer obtained their Doctor of Natural Sciences (Dr. rer. nat.) degree in Chemistry from The University of Göttingen between 1980 and 1987. Matthias then pursued a postdoctoral fellowship in metalorganic chemistry at the University of Toronto from 1987 to 1988.
