Ruben Manniën

Ruben Mannien has a strong background in the chemicals and manufacturing industry. Ruben is currently working at allnex as the Executive Vice President APAC since October 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Executive Vice President Liquid Resins and Additives at allnex from October 2016 to September 2022. Before joining allnex, Ruben worked at Nuplex as the Regional President Asia from July 2011 to September 2016. Ruben also served as the General Manager China and North Asia at Nuplex Resins from March 2008 to June 2011, and as the General Director Vietnam at Nuplex Resins Vietnam from August 2005 to August 2008. Ruben's earlier career included the roles of Global Procurement Manager at Akzo Nobel Resins and Nuplex Resins from August 2002 to September 2005, and Procurement Manager at AkzoNobel from December 1997 to August 2002.

Ruben Mannien holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management Science from Eindhoven University of Technology, which they obtained between 1991 and 1997. In 2015, they completed an Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD through its Executive Education.
