Ewen Colquhoun

Ewen Colquhoun has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ewen currently holds the position of Sales Operations Director at Allocate Software, a role they started in May 2020. Before this, they worked as the Founding Director of Surpass Consulting Limited from October 2019 to May 2020.

In their earlier career, Colquhoun held various positions at different companies. From July 2018 to October 2019, they served as the VP Global Field Sales Operations at Sandvine, where they were responsible for managing sales forecasting and negotiating product and service agreements. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Business Operations - EMEA at Sandvine, where they managed regional forecasting and led commercial negotiations with telecommunications carriers and resellers.

Colquhoun also has experience working at BlackBerry. Their roles at BlackBerry included Director, Business Management EMEA, Director, Business Affairs EMEA, Business Enablement Director, and Contracts and Commercial Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for business planning, managing teams, negotiating agreements, and implementing governance processes.

Before joining BlackBerry, Colquhoun worked at Computacenter as a Service Design Consultant - Managed Services from January 2006 to October 2007. Ewen also worked at AT&T, where they held various positions such as Business Development Manager, Account Manager, Project Manager, and PC Support Analyst. At AT&T, they were responsible for sales support, pricing, risk assessment, and project management.

Colquhoun began their career as a Test Engineer at Rover Group, where they worked from September 1996 to August 1999.

Overall, Colquhoun has gained extensive experience in sales operations, business management, commercial negotiations, and project management throughout their career.

Ewen Colquhoun began their education in 1986 at The Glasgow Academy, where they completed their secondary education. After that, they attended the University of Strathclyde from 1992 to 1996, achieving a Joint Honours degree in BEng in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, Ewen obtained the ITIL Foundation certification in June 2006 from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
