Hana Yang

Co-founder & CXO at Allocate

Hana Yang is currently the Co-Founder and CXO at Allocate since April 2021. Prior to that, they were a Kauffman Fellow Class 20 at Kauffman Fellows starting from June 2015. Hana also worked as a Founding Partner and Co-Author at Wingpact, where they published a book on angel investing for women and launched private wine labels in partnership with a woman wine-maker. Hana was a Managing Director at First Republic Bank from September 2015 to April 2021. Hana was also a Partner at Manos Accelerator via Google Launchpad from January 2014 to December 2015. Hana had experience working at Fundly, Adobe, CCS Fundraising, United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), and Capgemini in various roles before their current positions.

Hana Yang completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Latin American Literature with an Education Minor at the University of California, Berkeley from 2002 to 2006. Hana pursued Fundraising Management, earning a Master of Science degree from Columbia University between 2009 and 2011. Hana also participated in the Education Abroad Program at Yonsei University for the 2003-2004 academic year. Additionally, they were a part of the Riordan MBA Fellows program at UCLA Anderson School of Management from 2007 to 2008.
