Richard Thoms

Richard Thoms possesses extensive experience in regulatory operations and compliance within the private equity sector. Currently serving as the Director of Private Equity Operational Compliance at Allocations since December 2022, Richard has improved regulatory filing processes for over 200 entities and enhanced invoicing procedures. Prior to this, Richard held the position of Vice President of Regulatory Operations at Assure from May 2017 to December 2022, where operational compliance and data accuracy were significantly improved through effective management and Salesforce implementation. Richard's earlier roles include Associate at Goldman Sachs, responsible for cash forecasting and liquidity analysis for substantial funds, and various positions at State Street, focusing on day-to-day operations and client relations. Richard began a career in financial services as a Fund Accountant at Investor's Bank and Trust, following a BA in Mathematics from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
