Cong Zhu

Cong Zhu has a strong background in the biotechnology and research field. They began their career as a Research Fellow at Brigham and Women's Hospital in 2005 and later transitioned to a Postdoctoral Research Associate role at UMass Medical School in 2009. In 2012, Zhu joined the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard as a Research Scientist I/II where they worked until 2018. During this time, they gained expertise in their field. In 2018, Zhu moved on to Foghorn Therapeutics, Inc where they held the position of Sr. Scientist for three years. Currently, Zhu is employed at Allorion Therapeutics as an Associate Director, a role they held from July 2021 to December 2022. Starting from January 2023, Zhu is promoted to the position of Director at Allorion Therapeutics.

Cong Zhu obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Genetics from Nankai University. After completing their undergraduate degree, they pursued a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Kentucky.
